This Hide and Seek map for Bedrock stands out with its inclusion of power-ups and various items. Set in a charming Smurfs village, originally built by @FizzmanB (Fizzman797), this minigame map incorporates special items and power-ups, including one legendary item, designed to make players feel exceptionally powerful.
**Starting the Game**
To begin, a minimum of 2 players is required. Simply press the button in front of you once enough players have joined. A random seeker will be chosen, and the game will start within 15 seconds, releasing all hiders. Some power-ups will be available, while others will not. Hiders are given at least 30 seconds to find a hiding spot. They can use power-ups to reduce the seek time, while seekers can use their power-ups to more easily locate hidden players.
**Power-Ups & Game Changer**
**For Hiders**
Hiders have a total of 4 items, including power-ups:
* **Hint item: Launch Fireworks** - Allows you to summon fireworks nearby, wherever you desire. This also reduces the seek time by 5 seconds.
* **Hint item: Summon Lightning Bolt** - Summons a lightning bolt directly above the hider's head. While this makes it more likely for the seeker to find you, it reduces the seek time by 10 seconds.
* **Emergency Escape Pad** - Summons a pad that a hider can use to escape a dangerous seeker. This item is single-use only!
* **Legendary Item: Book of Hiding (passive)** - Not all hiders can obtain this power immediately. You must complete a specific action first. It is a passive item, and its effects will become clear if you manage to acquire it.
**Cooldown:** All hiders share the same cooldown for power-ups and items. If one hider uses an item or power-up, everyone must wait before using another to prevent the seek time from expiring too quickly.
**For Seekers**
Seekers have two items, including power-ups:
* **Epic: Movement Eye Tracker (EMeyeT)** - This epic item can detect nearby hiders within an 8-block radius. Upon detection, all seekers are notified of the detected player's proximity. Although epic, it's not legendary enough to be impenetrable; hiders can stand on it and hack it for a few seconds, buying themselves valuable time. Each successful hack requires the EMeyeT to rebuild. Seekers can also modify the EMeyeT by standing on it, returning it to their inventory instantly. Only one EMeyeT can be summoned at a time.
* **Seeker's Instinct (passive)** - Whenever a hider uses a hint item, seekers can identify its location if they are nearby.
**Repair Time:** Like hiders, seekers also share the repair time for the EMeyeT, and thus share information about what the EMeyeT reveals.
